About Shohambari sanatorium
The sanatorium works in the Hissar district of Tajikistan, in the village of Darozi within the Almosi jamoat, at 1,150 metres and roughly 25 kilometres from Dushanbe. The present building opened after reconstruction on 2 July 2021.

According to the official opening announcement, the treatment building covers 4,336 square metres across four floors and can host up to 1,000 people for treatment and rest at once. Before reconstruction the sanatorium employed 60 people; afterwards more than 300 permanent jobs were created.
Specialisation
The sanatorium states that it specialises in digestive conditions and also treats musculoskeletal and neurovascular conditions. A doctor prescribes treatment after a consultation.
