The Asian Cycling Championships: hosting 30 countries
From 25 to 30 March 2022 Dushanbe hosted the Asian Road and Para Cycling Championships for the first time. The sanatorium was its platinum sponsor and housed guests from 30 countries.

Who came
The sanatorium received delegations from Uzbekistan, Vietnam, the UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, Italy and elsewhere. During the race week it hosted David Lappartient, president of the Union Cycliste Internationale, and Osama Al Shafar, president of the Asian Cycling Confederation.
What it meant for the sanatorium
The sanatorium's director, Amiri Bozor, said at the time that Shohambari aims to develop medical tourism in the country. Hosting international delegations has been regular since: the Asian MMA Championship in 2022, and the Dushanbe Grand Slam judo events in 2024 and 2025.
