ECG

ECG. The sanatorium takes one before physiotherapy — mineral baths, paraffin, light baths and bioenergy massage — without exception.

How it runs

An ECG is taken before physiotherapy begins — before a mineral bath, paraffin, a light bath or bioelectric massage. It shows the state of the heart and rules out contraindications: some procedures are unsuitable in arrhythmia, ischaemic heart disease and hypertension.

Indications

  • Assessing the heart before a course of procedures
  • Detecting contraindications in arrhythmia, ischaemia, hypertension
  • Chronic cardiovascular disease and older age

Indications are reproduced from the sanatorium's own description. A doctor determines the prescription, the course and any contraindications at the consultation.
