Hydrocolonotherapy: how the procedure works
The sanatorium describes hydrocolonotherapy in detail: a session lasts 25–45 minutes and uses 20–25 litres of water, with a full clean taking 3–5 sessions one to three days apart.

How it works
During the procedure the large intestine is repeatedly filled with water or a herbal infusion and emptied. Peak pressure stays under 100 millibars; the sanatorium calls the regimen gentle and the procedure painless.
When it is prescribed
The sanatorium links the procedure to digestive conditions: gastritis, pancreatitis, colitis, constipation and cholecystitis. For resident guests it lists the procedure as free.
Contraindications
The sanatorium states plainly who should not have it: during a flare-up of bowel disease, with a tumour process in the bowel, an acute haemorrhoid flare, anal fissures or fistulas, large gallstones or kidney stones, and hernias of the linea alba or groin.
